Penguins
I've loved penguins for as long as I can remember. As a child, I watched the 2005 French documentary March of the Penguins (La Marche de l'empereur) over and over.
I have a soft spot for penguins from Antarctica and the islands around it, especially Emperor, King and Adélie penguins. Their fluffy bodies are adorable, and so is their scruffy look when they molt.
This site
When I went looking for places to see penguins, I couldn't find a single site that showed which penguins live where. So I started building one, partly for myself. I hope there will be even more places in Japan where you can see penguins.
My dream
One day, I'd love to go on an Antarctic cruise and see Emperor penguins in the wild.
Beyond penguins
I love good food and drink. I also play golf and go bouldering, and every so often I go hiking or camping.
